IPL hair removal at AnyLopez Aesthetic Clinic Benidorm
IPL Hair Removal · Intense Pulsed Light

Serious IPL hair removal. Not the high-street version.

Wax, razors, creams... you've spent years on temporary hair removal that piles up costs and damaged skin. IPL done properly reduces hair permanently — but only when it's done properly. Clinical-grade equipment and a plan tailored to your skin phototype and real hair growth cycle, not a one-size-fits-all low-cost chain protocol.

Sound familiar?

Most patients who come to us have been through the same thing.

You're not arriving from nowhere. You're arriving after trying other things that didn't quite work.

You're tired of shaving, waxing and depilatory creams

And your damaged skin shows it. Folliculitis, ingrown hairs, constant irritation. Your skin is asking for something permanent.

You've tried IPL at low-cost chains with no lasting results

Cheap machines, fixed parameters, "come back every fortnight" — and then the hair grows back just the same. Technology without judgement doesn't work.

You have sensitive skin, fine or fair hair, or a high phototype

And you're not sure if it'll work. The short answer: with professional equipment and a prior assessment, yes — with a generic device, no.

Why IPL at AnyLopez works

Six reasons it works here when it hasn't worked elsewhere.

It's not marketing. It's clinical-grade equipment, prior assessment and case-by-case judgement.

01

Clinical-grade IPL equipment

Not an Amazon or bargain-bin device. Professional technology with adjustable parameters — the difference between actually reducing hair and not.

02

Prior assessment of phototype and hair

Fair skin with dark hair responds differently to darker skin with fine hair. No assessment, poor outcome. With assessment, an effective plan.

03

Sessions spaced to your real hair growth cycle

Not "come back every fortnight" to rack up sessions — but respecting the anagen phase of the hair (the only one IPL works on). Each area has its own cadence.

04

Comfortable, no real pain

A brief snapping sensation from the pulsed light. No needles, no hot wax, no ingrown hairs.

05

Compatible with sensitive skin and all phototypes

With adapted parameters, IPL is safe on sensitive skin. For higher (darker) phototypes we use specific protocols.

06

Applied by someone who can read your skin

Decades of experience tuning parameters case by case. The difference between effective IPL and a placebo.

★★★★★

"After trying IPL at another chain with mediocre results, here in 6 sessions the area is perfectly reduced. The difference is the quality of the equipment and the prior assessment."

Patient · IPL full legs
★★★★★

"My skin is very sensitive and I was afraid of laser/IPL hair removal after bad experiences. Here they adjusted the parameters from the very first session and there was no irritation at all."

Inés P.
Patient · IPL bikini
★★★★★

"I'd been shaving my face for years (a woman with facial hair due to PCOS) and it was hell. Facial IPL with a specific protocol has changed my life. The psychological side is something they really care about too."

How do we get started?

Four steps. No surprises, no small print.

From your first message to your first session takes less than two weeks.

1

You book your assessment

A call or WhatsApp to find a slot. 30 minutes at the clinic, free of charge, no commitment.

2

Phototype + hair type assessment

We evaluate your skin colour, the colour and thickness of your hair, your medical history and the target area. We'll tell you honestly whether IPL is right for you — and if it isn't, we'll say so too.

3

Session plan based on area and cycle

We design a realistic number of sessions and a cadence that respects each area's hair growth cycle. Face and underarms: 4-6 weeks. Legs and body: 6-8 weeks.

4

One-off top-ups once you're done

After the initial plan, a single top-up session once a year is enough. No endless commitments.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most about IPL.

Between 6 and 10 sessions, spaced according to the area and hair growth cycle. Face and underarms: every 4-6 weeks. Legs and body: every 6-8 weeks. A one-off top-up once a year after completing the plan.

A brief snapping sensation with each light pulse. Far more comfortable than hot wax or diode laser. Most people don't need any anaesthetic.

Ideally IPL is done outside periods of intense sun exposure. Summer is fine if your skin isn't tanned and you use strict sunscreen. For tanned skin it's better to wait until autumn or winter.

IPL isn't validated for pregnancy or breastfeeding as a precaution, even though there is no evidence of harm. We wait until breastfeeding ends before starting a plan.

Both reduce hair permanently. IPL uses broad-spectrum pulsed light (more flexible across different areas and skin types). Diode laser uses a single coherent wavelength (more effective on very dark hair and fair skin, but less versatile).

No commitment
